Description for the dive shop Azores Sub - Azores
Our mission is the teaching of recreational diving associated to diving trips and other services. Azores Sub PADI Dive Center is very concerned with the preservation of our Oceans and tries to pass on that feeling to all those who are interested in the underwater world. The Safety of our Divers is to Azores Sub PADI Dive Center priority factor. Our diving courses and other activities are always supervised by PADI certified professionals. Azores Sub PADI Dive Center have more than 20 different diving spots in the south coast of S. Miguel.
Our Facilities Include: We have one store where we sell all you need for Scuba Diving and also works like reception for the clients of our Dive Center. We have 20 diving equipments to rental. We also rent snorkeling gear. Our clients can leave they’re equipment in our instalations, where we have a special place for the effect.
After the dive our clients can have a hot shower bath and we also have individual lockers where they can leave all they’re personal belongs. In our facilities you’ll also find a special area reserved to ladies.
Two spots where our clients can wash all they’re diving equipment after the dive.
Filling Station where we also have available for our client’s mixes of enriched air until a maximum of 40% O2.
A classroom that is equipped with all the didactic material needed for a teaching of excellence.
We have 2 diving boats which one of them with 6,70m equipped with engines Suzuki with 140HP. and also “Azores Sub I” Searib’s with 9,50 meters with a Suzuki engine with 300 HP. Beside diving this boat also makes trips around the island and trips to Sta. Maria, Formigas and Dollabart.
