BURI BEACH RESORT Puerto Galera Philippines Buri Beach Resort is a romantic getaway just two hours away from Manila to Batangas by land and 45 minutes in our very own traditional boat to the beautiful island of Puerto Galera, Mindoro.
The resort opened in 2001 with 5 luxuriously appointed cottages made entirely out of native materials such as bamboo and nipa. The cottages are modeled from the traditional Bahay Kubo as well as incorporating several other Asian architectural influences. Decorative details show the craftsmanship of local mindorenos in working with different varieties of bamboo. Buri is set away from other resorts in Puerto Galera giving it an exclusive and peaceful atmosphere.
While most of our guests prefer to bask in the sun and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the surroundings, others can take advantage of the teeming marine life and numerous beaches that line the island of Puerto Galera. Buri sets itself apart from other resorts in the are in terms of luxury, exclusivity and personalized service. Like the palm tree after which it is named, Buri is a thing of beauty and a spectacle to behold.
