Description for the dive shop Dive In Larnaca - Cyprus

Based opposite to the world famous wreck of the Zenobia, we are the only fully equipped Technical diving centre in Larnaca offering TecRec and TDI courses as well as PADI and SDI recreational diving courses from beginner to Instructor. Our dives are designed to suit individual needs and we have a Wreckheads Tour of 10 dives for single cylinders and twins/CCR divers covering the most popular routes on the wreck. With the Zenobia lying just 1500 meters from our door we are the Zenobia experts.
We do Try Dives in the gently sloping Green Bay (40 minutes away) which ensures you get a real experience of diving rather than using a pool. Our dives are carried out under PADI Discover Scuba Diving guidelines which ensure you have a safe and enjoyable first dive. The Open Water courses are also conducted in Green Bay as are the first dives of the Advanced Open Water and the final dives being done on the wreck of the Zenobia.

Our staff are all TDI Instructors and the manager Chris is a TDI and TecRec Instructor Trainer. Our Technial dive courses are all based on the wreck which makes a fantastic training platform. We do all levels of TecRec and TDI courses from Nitrox to Advanced Trimix to Mixed Gas CCR for APD units. TDI Instructor courses are also run at the centre and there is no minimum number for any of our courses. We have a stock of well maintained twinsets, stages, and Tech kit as well as 2L and 3L bottles for CCR units, O2 to 200 bar and bailout gases and cylinders.
For recreational divers we have a large number of BCDs, wetsuits, regulators etc. As well as courses we run 2 dives per day to the Zenobia returning to the dive centre in between dives for the surface interval. We also run shore diving trips to Cape Grekko (near Agia Napa) which can either be a fun day out away from the wreck or check out dives for those who haven''t dived for a while or who have new kit to try out.
Our gas blening plant is one of the best in the Mediterranean and with 2 L+W compressors, a Membrane system for Nitrox, a mixing Panel for Trimix and high % mixes and a continuous flow for Trimix and Nitrox we can mix any custom mix our customers need. Our workshop can carry out repairs on Apeks, Mares, regulators and BCDs as well as inspecting and testing cylinders. Chris is also an APD Technician and DAN Instructor Trainer.

I have just completed a series of technical dives on the Zen with Dive In, i had a great time. They have all the kit - twins, stages, gases and tech kit for rent although I used my own. More importantly they know how to use it! All their guides are experienced Tech divers and they don't put Tech divers together with single cylinder divers. I was on my own with a guide for most of my trip. Having done a couple of dives on the outside of the wreck we progressed inside over the course of a week. They give thorough detailed briefings and you get 2 good tech dives each day with about 10-15 mins deco and a dive time of about 1 hour.

I will definitely be back.
