What a fantastic experience... Caroline is simply fantastic... great sense of humour and she could not do enough for us. From proposals of different places to stay (and booking them with preferred rates) to arranging pick up from the airport to checking my BC if there were any clips etc needed to washing and drying all our equipment... was a warm and very professional person. I can highly recommend Dam, Caroline and her team should you wish to dive in Thailand... this not only is a professional business but a family with open doors to divers... If you have questions regarding what ever, you will get a no nonsense answer. I can honestly say that next time I am over in Thailand, I will not even consider thinking about other diving options... there is only one and it is Aqua One - simple as that... a family away from home... I spent 4 days during Easter together with the very kind staff from Aqua One and I had a great time. I had never been to Thailand before but got the diving center recommended by a friend and called Caroline who arranged everything for my - accommodation, transport, equipment etc. Fantastic service - thanks Caroline !

One thing I enjoyed in particular was the good relationship between both the staff and the divers. Caroline did a lot to make us feel at home and I ended up spending most of my non-diving time with some of the other divers - over a dinner and a beer. That was nice since I traveled alone and with diving as the main purpose but I ended up making a couple of good friends and had a good time.

The diving was nice though a lot of the corals are dead in the area which is sad to see. Aqua One can not do anything about that though and they do their best to find the best dive spots based on weather and your interests. There are still nice divespots to explore and the total experience is very good ! I will for sure be back another day and can only recommend you to visit them if you get the chance :o)

Great place where the enthusiasm, love and joy of diving rubs of on anyone who enters the door.
Knowledge of the local dive site sites is astonishing and they are able to find and show the most amazing things.

I recently completed my open water certification with Aqua One and I can't say enough about how great this shop is. My trip to Phuket was very "last minute" and as a result, I didn't have much time to figure out where I wanted to stay, how to get around, or what I wanted to do while I was there. Aside from being a very thorough dive shop, everyone at Aqua One went well out of there way to help me find whatever it was that I needed to make my stay in Phuket and Nai Yang beach as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

With regard to the diving, there are three things that stand out most in my mind. The first is their commitment to safety. At no point during any of my training or dives did I feel unsafe or even uneasy. It was very clear from the beginning that we would only proceed at a pace I was comfortable with. All their equipment is in great shape and well cared for

The second is how flexible they were. I was there during the rainy/slow season so the weather wasn't the greatest. Rather than just rushing through the course and diving on days with poor visibility or uncomfortable rides to the dive sights, they were more than happy to wait for good conditions and schedule the better dive sights.

Third is their concern for the reefs and marine life. They are all very responsible divers and made it a point to teach me how to make as little or no harmful impact on the environment as possible. It is great to see how much they understand and care for reefs they visit.

This is a great little dive shop and I highly recommend them to anyone with plans to visit Phuket. Without a doubt, I will go back to them next time I am in Phuket.

First met Caroline and Dam as a beginner dive student with little experience. Their friendly, fun-loving approach soon had me hooked and I went on to complete an Advanced Padi and dive with Caroline in the Similans – and what an adventure that turned out to be!

Have just returned from another trip to Nai Yang; just me and my two young children this time so, unfortunately, no time for diving. However, dropped in on Aqua One to say hi and they kindly offered to take the kids for a pool dive! My 11-year-old son is now an enthusiast and I’m already looking forward to future dive holidays together.

The staff at Aqua One are always helpful and have extensive local knowledge of Phuket, they can provide advice on everything from car rental to sight-seeing. For something different try a couple of days in the rainforest at Khao Sok (kids loved it; canoe trip, cleaning elephants, scorpions and fireflies in the restaurant!), with hotel pick-up from Nai Yang it’s great value for money.

In summary I cannot recommend Aqua One enough - a unique dive-school with a first-class team that makes diving a real pleasure. If you’re looking for a friendly, enjoyable dive experience, to complement a holiday in a beautiful part of Thailand, then Aqua One is the place to go.

I have never had the desire to scuba dive or get in any water that i could'nt see , this fear comes with all the bad representation of the wonderful sea life in the ocean. We recently went to Phucket Thailand and one of the things we wanted to do was scuba dive. A dream of my husbands and me, well i was just along for the ride. We were told to see the Aqua One team . We walked in and and caroline could see that i was a little hesitant about the whole thing. so she sat me down and wanted to hear what questions i had , they made us feel at home . They wanted to make sure we were confortable and took us to their training spot and offered the one on one time.. I walked in not wanting to go cause i was scared and i left their shop wishing that we had more time to dive. The aqua team was great . I now want to swim with the sharks. they made our whole diving experience amazing! and i now want to make it my new hobby .. Thank you Caroline and Dom .. and the whole Aqua One Team .

It's a great deal. Caroline is super friendly and nice and a lot of fun. She takes every safety precaution. In my case I hadn't dived for a year and she took the time to help me relearn everything.

When I visited Thailand I knew I wanted to take my certificate but hadn't decided where to go. One day I ran into Dam from Aqua one, we started to talk about diving and the next day I found myself in the shop together with Caroline, Chris and all the other amazing people of Aqua one. These people had a big passion for diving and felt serious with a great focus on security without forgetting what diving really is all about, having fun. I started my CMAS one star the same day.

Because of the experienced, friendly and completely amazing crew I came back two weeks after I took my certificate for five more days of diving, before heading back to Sweden.
I've already started to plan my next trip to Phuket and my new family, for mor days of great diving and alot of fun.

We had an excellent time with Caroline & Dom. They made the experience both instructive and fun. We will return to Nai Yang and dive with them again in the future if at all possible!

I hadn't been scuba diving for 17 years and didn't know where to go or even if my cert. still was valid. Luckily I ran into Aqua one. Just professional, calm and experienced help all the way. And lots of joking.

As for the "Value for money"-rating, I have nothing to compare to. Just the feeling that scuba diving could be a costly activity.

Just relax and let Aqua one take care of you.

The staff of Aqua One Diving at Nai Yang Beach in the north of Phuket is very friendly and helpful. They want you to have a good time and will do there best to help you with that. The atmosphere is easy going and never in a rush, but never inattentive. They go for save dives with solid instruction and attention to every level.
The school is new build on a nice location, with new and well maintained equipment. The nice staff are very experienced, take time for good briefing, keep a close eye on you while gearing up and during the dive. They know the divespots very well and are flexible in changing the day-program if necessary. Throughout the whole shop there is a feeling of responsibility that gives you a save and relaxed feeling before, during and after the dives.
A lovely shop with lovely people that makes you want to stay for ever or least come back every year!!

My wife and I were newly certified divers when we went to Aqua One in November, 2010. We found the staff to be very proffessional and corteous. Thanks to them for helping us to obtain our advanced diver certificate while having a great time and experiencing Thailand diving. We will be diving with them again this April for more adventures.

I've been diving from a few different companies in and around Asia but none have compared to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at Aqua One (even Zombie the dog greets you with a friendly wag of the tail!!) They make everything fun but still put safety first so I'd be happy to recommend them to nervous beginners and experienced divers looking for a good day diving.

I wanted to go on a liveaboard to Similans but didn't want to go on my own (had a bad experience with a different, very grumpy company a few years back) so they introduced me to some others who were going before I was booked on the trip. Everything was organised for me so all I had to do was have fun, which we did in bucket loads!.

You'll find them very honest, if they know the vis isn't great they'll tell you so if you prefer you can delay your dive for a couple of days. In a nut shell Aqua One are Safe, Honest and Fun, oh and very reasonably priced. I will definatley be going back :)

I came there as a total novice, and was offered a free testdive down to two meters instead of signing up for a course I might not like to finish. The instructor (DAM) and the instructor trainee (Christian) took good care of me and explained all gear and equipment to me and made me feel comfortable and safe.
The testdive was good so I signed up for a CMAS basic diver course. This was also done very calm and safe, and I was taken good care of all the time.
The only thing to complain about was bad visibility during most of the dives, but that's something I guess I must blame mother nature and not the diveshop for.
I'm going back next winter to get my one star licence!

My wife and I Dive at Aqua One Water Sports at Nai Yang Beach Phuket Thailand every time we come to Thailand. The staff is friendly and professional. The Dive sights are good and the marine life is fantastic. It is not normal to see large sea life, however there is an enormous amount of smaller fish. The visibility is normally quiet good. (Occasional bad vis) The equipment at the shop is almost new. The Dive guides are knowledgeable and very friendly.
I believe a good dive BEGINS with the Dive shop and it's staff, Aqua One Water Sports adheres to this philosophy. If you are ever diving in Phuket say hello to our good friend Caroline at Aqua One.

This year we saw about 40 (what we think) was short finned pilot whales at Nai Yangs local Dive sight heading out to sea.

Friendly, efficient Dive operation. Just completing its first High season. Equipment & Staff both First class.
An ambitious management, keen to improve the already impressive facilities.
