Description du club de plongée Dive-Urge- Egypt
Dive-Urge is a P.A.D.I. Gold Palm 5 star Dive Resort (s32174), offering a very special customized dive service for those people who want to leave the crowds behind and like to dive with other divers with compatible skill levels. Dive Urge is also a great place to learn to dive, at your own pace and with small numbers (MAX FOUR) or privately on a one to one basis is also available, if you wish.
If you are already a diver then we will take you through an initial dive consultation.
We are a family run business English and Egyptian owned. We have both lived and enjoyed working in the Holiday/Dive Industry in Dahab for a total of 18 years between us and have a good appreciation of the needs of holiday makers as well as having established the long term contacts essential here, to make sure the customer gets exactly what (s)he wants, be that just fantastic, personalised diving experiences, or just a really nice spot under some Palm Trees to enjoy some peace and quiet and snorkeling.
Some words about the Dive Urge Team: Claire Newton OWSI who has lived in Dahab for 5 years, but originally from Birmingham. Claire is our main PADI Instructor and is our Dive Operations Manager too. She has been at Dive Urge for nearly three years and is an advocate of our Eco Diving policy and has a wealth of knowledge re the underwater world. Theresa Hayes is our New Dive Master, she has also escaped the rat race and is here helping us with lots of aspects of the running of Dive Urge. Ahmed and Mahmoud, are both brothers of Helal, my Husband. Together they look after the running of the Club and can help to make your stay comfy and relaxed and nothing is too much trouble, they also have a good sense of humour, so watch out. They are both divers too so can appreciate your underwater shot when you get back from your dives. There is also a team of helpful lads, all willing to help with anything you need. Khaled and Bakar have important roles as our Chefs. They can come up with anything from a tasty full on fruit pancake in the morning to a sumptuous steak and shrimp special which you won`t forget. They are also there for those quick pasta dishes between meals or a hot chocolate when you come back from a dive, nothing is too much bother. We keep the feel of the place relaxed and family orientated so you can fully kick back and start relaxing from when you get here.
We will not pressure you to do dive if you don`t want to (for example if your partner does) and there are plenty of other activities, in Dahab to enjoy and a lot to be said for chilling out on our private beach and reading a good book next to the sea and under the palm trees. Here at Dive Urge, we are all passionate about diving and the natural beauty of this part of the Sinai, and try to protect it with small numbers of divers and picking up any rubbish we come across above or below the water. Everyone can enjoy Dive Urge as our whole facility and mind set has also included the needs of disabled clients, with ramp access to all areas of the dive center and an open plan bathroom inside too.
As the diving is shore based this makes it easier to access. There are plenty of other activities besides diving; windsurfing, camel riding, horse riding, quad bikes and some amazing scenery to explore. Both of our daughters; Nadia and Hebba were born and raised in Dahab, this gives us extra appreciation of the needs of families. Everyone loves children here, they are welcome everywhere and have lots of space to run and splash around in.
