Reeftrip is a team of like-minded individuals who share a passion for the Cairns region and the Great Barrier Reef, and want to share their enthusiasm by assisting with your holiday needs to exceed your expectations and meet your budget.
If your time limits you to a day trip, there are loads of Great Barrier Reef diving & snorkeling options that will suit all needs. Cruise to a tropical island, sail to a secluded sand cay, fly or cruise to a Reef pontoon, or escape on one of the several day boats that visit spectacular reef locations.
Budget tours to the Outer Great Barrier Reef start as low as $60.00 and even less for kids.
If you really want to experience the Great Barrier Reef at its best ... spend a night on it ... scuba diving and snorkeling packages are available in luxury accommodation on the Great Barrier Reef.

The best way to experience the Great Barrier Reef is to become one of the fish, and enter the world of scuba diving. You will enter a spectacular world of colour and marine life, with gardens that bloom under the sea. Scuba divers will get a chance to interact with Green Sea Turtles or our friendly resident giant Maori Wrasse "Wally" during their scuba diving adventures.
Some of our dive areas:
*Michaelmas Reef: Located 40 kms off Cairns, offers shallow coral reefs, and a dazzling array of exotic marine life including Giant Clams over 100 years old.
*Norman Reef: The very Outer Reef 70 kms from Cairns, on the Continental Shelf, yielding incredible visibility. Many canyons, swim throughs, and prolific large fish life. A must to see, the best location for 'Night Diving'.
*Saxon Reef: Renowned for huge Manta Rays, friendly inquisitive moray eels, great for diving or snorkelling. Transfer for return trip home.
*Hastings Reef: 58 kms off Cairns, lies 10 sq. kms of colourful coral gardens. Famous for Tame Friendly Reef Sharks, finally the Giant Wrasse, and thousands of tropical fish.
*Breaking Patches: Forests of staghorn coral, large black coral trees, wall diving and lion fish to photograph.
