DescriptionSuit: 3mm – 5mm shortie Type of diving: Wrecks, reefs, boulders, drop offs Aruba is the westernmost of the southern Caribbean islands, lying just 18 miles from Venezuela. It is a tiny island that is a maximum 6 miles wide and 20 miles long. Despite its size, it is well set up for tourists with plenty of restaurants and hotels to choose from. More than 540,000 people visit Aruba each year, but it is not a good place for someone travelling on a budget. Many of the hotels are very luxurious, so cheap accommodation is difficult to find. Eating out doesn’t come cheaply either, but if you don’t mind spending that little bit more you will find some good cuisine. Diving in Aruba is famous for the spectacular shipwrecks and interesting coral formations that dominate Aruba’s underwater realm. This includes the 400 foot Antilla wreck — the largest wreck in the Caribbean. Most of Aruba’s dive sites lie along the protected western and southern coasts, a short distance from the hotels on Palm Beach. Aruba’s waters are rich in exotic marine life, including stingrays, moray eels, manta rays, barracudas and yellow tail. A large, shallow sand plateau surrounds Aruba making boat travel the most convenient method of reaching the off-shore reefs. Interesting coral formations are found from shallow water depths of 20 to 100 feet, with little or no current and flat surface conditions. Over twenty more dive sites are shared by the dive operators on the island, and Red Sail Sports offers a weekly dive boat scheduled to the best of these sites. Aruba - Known throughout the Caribbean for its friendly atmosphere, Aruba is also home to numerous activities that allow families to explore everything from the island's unique landscape and colonial history to the wonders of the Caribbean Sea. If Aruba is someplace you keep visiting on vacation then it may make sense to look into purchasing a timeshare along one of its beaches. It's hard not to enjoy the sun, sand, warm water, and activities that this small Caribbean island offers. Sure, you could stay at a hotel or resort but if you find yourself there every year it gets expensive. An Aruba timeshare will give you the opportunity to visit more often, stay someplace you are used to, and save money on your lodging costs. Aruba itself is a great destination for anyone looking for a vacation on a tropical island. Whether you travel first class or coach there is something for everyone here. There are a wide variety of people to mingle with along with all the sun, surf, and sand you could ask for. There are a wide variety of Aruba timeshares to choose from that will offer you a lifetime of vacation memories. You can't beat the lush tropical environment with plenty of world class restaurants, freshly caught seafood, and ocean side dining. There are a number of fun activities to be found on Aruba. You can enjoy underwater sights that most people do not get a chance to see on the submarine adventure. You can go sailing for the first time or go sailing on the Jolly Pirates adventure. Or you can just walk out the door of your timeshare and hit the beach for some fun in the sun. Windsurfing, swimming, snorkeling, and anything else you can think of to do on the sun kissed beaches. Whether you are traveling with that special someone or your whole family you will never lack for things to do. You will soon find yourself looking forward to your vacation in the months before you are scheduled to leave. This is how a vacation should be. Knowing that you have a great place to stay will create a level of anticipation before your vacation that you never knew existed. If you love vacations in the sun and surf then an Aruba timeshare could well be your vacation answer. The friendly people, great beach activities and entertainment opportunities, and delicious seafood restaurants will keep you coming back again and again. We just returned from a week in Aruba and I must say it was disappointing. The wind was brutal all the time while we were there. Sun bathing on the beach allowed you to get a tan and exfoliated at the same time (you know a natural sand blasting). We were traveling with a large group of people and the overall consensus was that Aruba would not be at the top of our list of places to visit again. People were overall friendly and it is amazing the difference in the landscape from one side of the island to the other. Definitely some things to see but if yo hae been once WHY would you go back and i would not highly recommend this destination to others.
