The Mediterranean style dive and beach resort Turquoise Bay is located in the East End on Roatan's north shore. You arrive at this secluded and quiet dive & beach resort down a long driveway, getting your first glimpse of the resort set in its own protected bay overlooking Roatan's spectacular reef and views westward. The resort has 6 duplex bungalows, set on the hillside amongst palm trees and planted gardens, above the main reception, central pool, restaurant and bar area. Each with an unobstructed view over the beach and the ocean. All air-conditioned hotel rooms are fully appointed with 2 double beds or one king-size bed, bath and balcony.
Below the pool deck is the safe private beach protected by a natural mangrove sea wall. Watersports are available from the beach with the scuba diving from the yacht marina alongside. Scuba Diving at Turquoise Bay Dive and Beach Resort is offered by the leading dive operator on Roatan: Subway Watersports. Roatan is famous among scuba divers for its big variety of coral, which you can see from only a short boat ride away. Some of the best-known and most spectacular dive sites are just minutes away. Our dive boats leave daily at 8:45 am, 11 am and 2 pm. We do one night dive per week. We scuba dive mainly on the north shore of Roatan in the area between the West End - Sandy Bay Marine Park and Punta Gorda.
Only a few minutes away from our shop you’ll find some of Roatan’s best dive sites. Like the world famous Dolphin Den and the wreck of the Odyssey. Having the dive sites close by we come back to the dive shop for our surface intervals. Whether you are scuba diving or just want to relax on the beach come and spend your vacation at Turquoise Bay Resort in Roatan and enjoy the friendly service, the relaxed atmosphere and the beautiful views.
