I had one of my best dive experiences regarding quality and service. Very good equipment altogether and Eng was really caring. Getting on the boat was a bit adventurous, since the surge wouldn't allow the boatman to get anywhere near the beach. So we had load everything into the car and drive to the jetty further south. I liked this little diversion.
Visibility in Satang island wasn't great, which can be expected in October, but we were really lucky on the shipwreck. Good visibility and no current. No other divers around - what a luxury! I will certainly go again and explore more of the wreck.

Worst Dive experience of my life. Poor snorkelling with scuba gear on and at scuba prices.

I asked heaps of questions before I signed up as I was concerned about the conditions, depth, visability etc. I was told that the dive site was 7-10m with 5-10m visability. I accept that a dive operator does not have control over the visability.

The dive ended up being 90% in 0.5m-2m water depth. with 1m visability. It was snorkelling with scuba gear on. When I raised my head at the surface and complained, Eng took me down between a couple of rocks for 10 seconds so that when I complained further, she could remind me that the dive computer said 5m maximum depth.

It was so bad I refused to do the second dive. Eng refused to provide any refund or partial refund.

Eng blatantly lied to me about the conditions and depth etc to get my business. She is unscrupulous. She should have know that the tide was low and that was the water depth.
