Description du club de plongée Planet Scuba-UKPlanet Scuba is a small, efficient Dive Centre run by PADI MSDT Instructors Steve Manton and Ian Suckling with a great deal of support from fellow instructors. The whole approach of Planet Scuba is friendly, relaxed and responsible. This is recreational, it deserves to be fun and enjoyable for everyone involved. All Planet Scuba staff are passionate divers, each with their own favourite disciplines within the sport. The broad range of scuba interests in the team should strike a chord with all our customers, no matter what their personal interests. The Planet Scuba door is open to all, why not drop in for a visit, check the lay of the land and begin a new friendship today…. you may even see some dive club members floating about. We offer PADI Diver Training. PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) is the largest diver training organisation in the World, it is widely recognised and respected. Whether you are experienced or a total novice the Planet Scuba door is open to you, all it needs is a little nudge, exactly: Trial Dive and Beginner Courses. * Never dived? Worried you will waste money on a course that is not for you? Well the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience is the easy answer, a simple 1 hour trial dive in an indoor heated pool. What`s more the fee for the trial dive is refunded should you take the next step and go on to the PADI Open Water options with us. * Courses for the Experienced: There are many paths forward for PADI Open Water Divers or equivalent certification from other agencies. There is the Adventure Diver route, The Advanced Open Water Diver option or any one of a whole host of PADI Specialty courses. Master Scuba Diver: the highest recreational diver level in the PADI system of Diver education. This rating proves you have a significant level of training and experience as a diver in a variety of underwater environments * Professional Courses: The PADI DiveMaster course is the first step on the professional ladder, it`s a fulfilling level that will see you teach and assist with the training of other divers, plus more, much more oh yes. Beyond DiveMaster comes PADI Assistant Instructor and PADI OWSI (Open Water Scuba Instructor). There a two great PADI kids programs that introduce and tune scuba diving skills to young divers so they are ready to progress to Open Water diving with the rest of the family too, so mums and dads you better get training too. PADI Bubblemaker Program: A fantastic and safe pool adventure for kids aged 8 to 10, learn to breathe underwater, learn other skills, play toypedo and other fun stuff underwater like marbles, archery even ironing. Planet Scuba run weekly supervised one hour pool sessions for bubblemakers, viewing gallery or swimming available for non diving parents/guardians. PADI Seal Team Program: It is for young divers on the prowl for action packed adventure by setting different pool based aqua-missions each week like taking underwater pictures, using torches, navigation, plus more imagination. The skill learned by the Seal will put them in good stead for Open Water Dive training once the reach 10 years old. The PADI Dry Suit speciality opens up whole a whole new world and set of opportunities to dive in UK waters and other colder climes and seasons. The spectacular and prolific life in our waters is a refreshing change from the tropics and is often under estimated by divers that don`t dive UK. The Coastline of Britain is littered with many wrecks as you would expect from a great maritime nation. PADI - Enriched Air Diver There is a lot spoken of Nitrox or enriched air, but it remains a mystery to many divers. Let us explain, it`s not that difficult and the benefits are huge, assuming you like your diving that is! In a nutshell your cylinder fill is contains more Oxygen that normal compressed air, which in turn allows you to stay down longer, but as with most good things in life there is a trade off. The course presents the pros and cons of enriched air diving, it is the firm belief of Planet Scuba that enriched air is for now and the future, why not draw it in today.
