Haad Yao Divers is the premier IDC PADI Dive Resort on Koh Phangan, in the Gulf of Thailand. We offer all levels of PADI scuba diving courses from beginner to Divemaster or Instructor and beyond. IDC Courses are conducted by Platinum Course Director Camille Lemmens. Opened 1997 HAAD YAO DIVERS was the first Dive Center on the west coast of Koh Phangan and one of the island's pioneers. At that time Koh Phangan was famous for its Fullmoon Parties on Haadrin beach but unknown for the beauty of its unspoiled reefs. Unlike its sister islands Koh Samui and Koh Tao, Koh Phangan is still unknown for divers, even though the most famous divesites like Sailrock and Angthong National Marinepark are nearest to Koh Phan-gan. Our divers benefit from shorter journey times and being first to arrive at the sites. The local dive sites along our coastline of the island are at a maximum distance of thirty minutes from the dive centre. The unspoilt reefs along Phangan's west coast are relatively shallow but offer all kind of hard and soft corals and a huge variety of marinelife. Haad Yao Divers owns and operates its own diveboat which is said to be the best on the island. Our boat is fully equipped with oxygen, first aid kit, radio, mobile phone and life wests. Our friendly boat crew is famous for their outstanding smile and service. All our diving staff is trained in First Aid and they are qualified DAN oxygen providers.
