Victor Harbour is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the Fleurieu Peninsula. Located about 80 kilometres south of Adelaide, this tourist haven was originally named Port Victor. According to seasoned divers, the perfect time for diving at The Bluff is every after north wind because it is when the visibility is better and the southern waters are calmer. The Bluff features a magnificent variety of fish species as well as several impressive kelp forests. An example of a marine life native to this area is the leafy seadragon. Meanwhile, located just several kilometres from The Bluff is Wright Island. An area populated mostly by fishermen, scuba divers have also flocked over Wright Island in recent years. This is because the place offers exceptional underwater adventure.
