Overall, this shop is where you want to be if serious about getting into the sport. If cost is a concern then you should not be diving. Anywhere you go, the cost is not cheap and the sport is not for those looking for a cheap thrill. It takes time and money to get certified if your intent is to make this apart of your life style.

They are very busy and some feel rushed through the onboarding process but they spend as much time as you need to be safe and comfortable once in the program. The attention given to details typically skimmed over by other shops is worth every penny. I went through the program and spent a good amount of time in the pool and still needed guidance in the open water.

They are a fun bunch to be around!!

First let me say that I am not a diver. I went to this shop to become trained and certified but experienced so much dissatisfaction that I decided to discontinue the course.

Beginners and inexperienced divers should be very cautious when dealing with this shop. For instance, the "Only Money Back Guarantee on Total Diving System in the Industry" is very deceptive. Sounds like you will get a refund on everything - yes? Not so. I know of one former client who had to fight for several months to get a refund and only got refunded when the credit card company agreed to a charge-back. Some guarantee.

Read the fine print, ask lots of questions, search the internet (check Scuba Board .Com - there was a big discussion regarding this shop there), go to the Better Business Bureau and review ALL of the comments posted regarding this shop, and shop around. Other dive shops in the area are well aware of the reputation this shop and it's owner.
