Description du club de plongée Andark diving-UK
Andark was formed in 1976, originally as a diving contractor working on many underwater projects from ship hull surveys to underwater construction and marine salvage. In 1980 we diversified into scuba diver training.
Today Andark is one of the country’s biggest leisure diving schools offering a range of world-recognized dive courses. From 1982 the company started retailing diving equipment. This was soon expanded to include clothing and equipment for other water-sports.
We run dives along the south coast and are situated in the heart of the south’s boating area, surrounded by marinas, sailing schools and clubs, with Cowes just across the Solent.
We at Andark are proud of our association with the following organisations:
*PADI: Andark is a 5-star Instructor Development Centre (IDC) PADI, with thousands dive centres in over 175 countries is the world’s largest recreational diving membership organization. At Andark we teach the full range of PADI courses up to Instructor level.
*BSAC: Andark is a Centre of Excellence (Courses by referral). Established in 1953, the British Sub Aqua Club was the first UK club for divers. As one of only 2 Centres of Excellence in the country we at Andark teach all BSAC courses, including Instructor courses.
*R.L.S.S (The Royal Lifesaving Society): Andark’s pool is approved for use for lifeguard courses.
*BMF (British Marine Federation): Member of the UK’s boating industry trade association.
*SITA (Scuba Industries Trade Association): Andark is a retail member of this organisation which is committed to excellence in equipment standards and service in sport diving.
*A.D.C (Association of Diving Contractors): Full member of ADC, the organization which represents diving contractors working inland and inshore in the United Kingdom and Ireland. ADC liaises on behalf of its members with the Health and Safety Executive and other organisations who recognise ADC as speaking on behalf of the majority of companies involved in this industry.
We strive to give excellent customer service. It is our aim to bring you the best equipment and to show you what is new to the market. All our staff are divers, sailors, water-skiers or canoeists – some do all of them!
