We visited Turtle Bay Dive Resort over the holidays 2009/2010 and our family of three divers and photographers greatly enjoyed the experience - our first to the Philippines. We are experienced divers and enjoyed the diversity of the life in the Moalboal area - we say pigmy seahorses, ornate ghost pipefish, sea snakes, turtles, schools of sardines, frogfish, leaf scorpionfish - and a whale shark! The reef health was good, the convenience to the resport was great (average boat ride was 20 mins to dive sites). We appreciated the local and reef knowledge of the dive team and the owners.

The accomodations were spacious and comfortable with nice outdoor patios. The outdoor pool and sunning area is lovely. The food was very good - breakfasts were cooked to order (which got a bit challenging when the divers all ate at the same time), and lunch and dinner buffet style with quality foods and preparation.

We didn't feel that we needed to do anything outside of the resort - it was all very relaxing!

This is a first rate operation.

While we were there, visitors included a range from snorkelers and new divers to divers with 500-750 dives completed.

The diving was first rate for all concerned with everyone happy with overall quality, equipment (all less than 2 years old), staff, safety and value for money. Plenty to see on the coral reef plus turtles and sardines and a what shark one day.

The owners are keen divers themselves and add a lot of local knowledge to the diving experience during the day and a relaxed atmosphere at night.
