Description for the dive shop Samoadive - SamoaWe are SamoaDive&Snorkel, We are the newest Dive resort in town, with all new TUSA equipment. We are small for that personal touch, maximum of 4 divers per trip maximum ratio of 1 to 4.
Serene but spirited, wild yet well-manicured, hushed but birthed by volcanic explosions; stunning Samoa is a paradisaical paradox. Despite its intense natural beauty – all iridescent seas, jade jungles and crystal waterfalls – this is a humble place, devoid of mega-resorts and flashy attractions, but with welcomes as warm as the island sun. Geographically and culturally, this small nation is considered the heart of Polynesia. Though the missionaries of the 1800s were enormously influential, the country has nevertheless clung to Fa’a Samoa (the Samoan Way), making it one of the most authentic and traditional of all Pacific societies: in some parts of the islands you’re more likely to see someone juggling fire than a house with walls. Despite its isolation, Samoa offers accessible adventures. From the relative ruckus of Apia to the soul-stirring silence of Savai’i, you’ll find a paradise that is safe, sweet and easy to get around. Let us show you OUR SAMOA. Our dive trips are not the usual jump on a boat, in and out, you're done. We take our time, show you the Samoa we love, pull on up to a private beach, dive, have lunch and then dive again. Here is an example: Double East Coast Tour Take a trip with us back to a time when life was simpler, get away from the city, though a rain forest, past a plantation, over a mountain to our piece of Samoa. Be spoiled on your own beach and a private scuba guide. Walk in off your beach and descend to a dive we call “Broken Ear”, ask us face to face why. Finish your first dive, a light lunch is provided whilst you again take in the sounds of your private beach. After your surface interval, gear up for the second and a personal favourite dive; Turtle Power. Named after our favourite 80’s cartoon show and these creatures are known to make an appearance here. I obtained my PADI Open Water Certificate through them and it was a really good experience. The team made it really easy for me, guided me very well through out the course, explained every step very clearly and made diving a fun and safe experience for me. As it was the first time that I dived, I was intimidated by the depth at first but with their instructions and guidance I felt very safe. They take very well care of their equipment and maintain it well and are also conscious about preserving the underwater environment. I can recommend anyone who comes to Samoa to dive with them!
