The STAY WET DIVING CENTER started operating in March 1995 starting with a few certified divers and expanded to one of the best organized diving bases in Crete.
Recognized by the greek government, member of the "PADI RESORT ASSOCIATION" and certified by the quality control organization Veritas, it is keeping a high standard of security and service. Only half an hour (20km) west of Heraklion - the capital of Crete - and next to Agia Pelagia, you will find a romantic bay called Mononaftis. Here, and in the surrounding areas, you will find a variety of excellent dive sites with warm and crystal clear water. You will be charmed by the silent and peaceful inhabitants of the southern Mediterranean Sea with it's rocky or sandy landscapes. Groupers, starfish, colorful sponges, octopus, moray eels and other mediterranean fish and plants can be seen during your trip under water. Occasionally dolphins, small stingrays, barracudas and seahorses will join you. The underwater world of Crete is rich of slopes, caves, cliffs and offers a wide range of spectacular dive sites for divers of all levels.

J'ai fait mon bapteme de plongée avec ma petite famille (moi meme et mes 2 enfants de 11 et 13 ans) il y a un mois environ et j'aimerai apporté mon commentaire car j'ai trouvé ce centre de plongée trés trés professionnel. J'avais également beaucoup d'apprension mais le fait que le centre soit francais nous a rassuré, car j'ai pu parlé en francais, chose qui n'est pas toujours facile en Crete.
L'accueil y est trés sympatique, les moniteurs trés professionnels et attentifs .... tous ce qu'il faut pour une plongée réussit je dois l'avouer.
La theorie du matin donne beaucoup d'informations ce qui aide a la plongée par la suite.
Avoir son propre moniteur, cela aide aussi... Je garde un merveilleux souvenir de cette journée et je recommande vivement Stay Wet pour tous ceux qui veulent plonger en toute sécurité et garder un souvenir inoubliable !

J aimerai egalement donner mon avis sur ce centre de plongee avec lequel j ai fait mon bapteme
je dois avouer que je n etais pas tres a l aise mais l equipe a su prendre le temps et a fait de moi une plongeuse confirmee
le fait de savoir que le centre est francais a decide mon choix car j avais eu une proposition moins chere sur un centre a lygaria mais les prestations n etaient pas equivalentes
j ai pu profiter de ma 1er plongee car la theorie etait faite en francais
Suite a ca l instructeur a senti que j etais anxieuse donc a prefere me mettre seule avec un divemaster pour me laisser plus de temps et ensuite nous avons rejoint le reste du groupe
apres 45 minutes de plongee et de pur bonheur et nous avons pu echanger nos impressions et avons eu un diplome
l annee d apres j y suis retournee pour passer mon 1er niveau car j ai trouve un centre ou la securite est leur soucis principal
je recommande donc vivement ce centre
